AI ActArts. 26(11), 85, 86 (not a defined term)
Someone an AI system's output is about or acts on, who is usually neither the provider nor the deployer: the job applicant screened by a hiring tool, or the borrower scored by a credit model. The Act gives them a right to be informed, to complain to a market surveillance authority, and in some cases a right to an explanation.
